Lisboa is a series of songs that I created by using sounds I collected in Lisbon earlier this year combined with casio keyboards. I released my full length album I had been sitting on for a year while I was out there, and I was ready to start working on new music, inspired by the traveling I was doing.

The sounds you hear are collected through videos on my phone mostly. Some of the tracks have extremely distorted record samples from records I bought out there as well. I tried to incorporate the sounds I was hearing daily in certain tracks, from the birds, to the constant construction, to people speaking Portuguese in the markets and in the parks, basically the background noise of Portugal. The last 2 tracks were completely made on a Casio toy keyboard, they don't necessarily contain sounds or recordings from Lisbon, but the melodies created reminded me of certain places and moments in Lisbon.

I want to thank all the beautiful people I met and connected with out there, they truly made the experience full, besides just being in a new foreign place.

The vibe and pace of this colorful city is inspiring, and it helped me create these 5 songs. I hope you enjoy them
